going into a new Mike Flanagan show like ohhh ghosts! and then coming out the other side like … we’re all just stories in the end and a ghost is just a wish and dying is a really shitty reason not to live

This wasn’t the three Peter Parker hugging for me
This was Tom, Andrew and Tobey hugging happy and excited for getting this once in a lifetime opportunity to work together as the three Spider-Man. I truly believe they became really good friends after filming this movie
Don’t touch me I’m emotional
Ok but I remember when Steve left for college.
I was around three or four, and (Nick Jr. actually suggested this as a teaching opportunity) my parents sat me down and told me all about college and how people go and learn everything about what they want to be when they grow up. That it’s not forever and leaving doesn’t mean you don’t love the people in your life, and that even though it’s hard sometimes you’ll be able to do great things.
I was sad, but accepted it and was happy for Steve. The feeling was largely unchanged even as I sat on our living room carpet and watched him walk out that big red door to the bus, suitcase in hand and green shirt on his back.
Fast forward to yesterday afternoon: two weeks into my senior year of college, sitting outside the Student Union, and I’m holding back tears as I watch a video from Steve. He apologizes if his leaving seemed abrupt, assures that he never stopped thinking about us and all of the help we gave him, and that he was proud of the people we became. I was never upset, but knowing that we saw each other and supported each other at this stage of our lives feels significant.
It feels like we used our minds, took it one step at a time, and now we’re doing anything we want to do.
So for that, thank you Steve 💚
I’M SORRY I’M JUST SWEATING FROM MY EYES
